M'A PRINT FABRIC IS MADE OF RECYCLED OCEAN PLASTIC WASTE

Our goal is to create a business that has the least impact on our planet and that's why we strive to incorporate as many circular materials as possible in our collections.

Billions of barrels of oil are used each year to produce synthetic materials, to develop products that in the end will be dumped in landfills and take ages even centuries to decompose.

At MARQUES’ALMEIDA, we use recycled polyester fibers made from post-consumer plastic waste recovered from the ocean, as well as from other sources. These recycled fibers have the same versatility, strength and durability of a "new" polyester, but with considerable reductions in environmental impacts.

According to fiber manufacturers, recycled options have a big impact on ocean cleanliness and allow 50% energy savings, 40% reduction in water consumption and 60% reduction in carbon emissions. We believe that with these actions we will have a great opportunity to act differently in creating new products and values for our society. As a result, we extend the life cycle of materials, reduce the amount of waste and minimize damage to the environment. We live on this planet and we care!
