By using our website and/or placing an order on our website you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept them. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order.


Terms and Conditions

Any order for products placed by customers through our website shall be subject to these terms and conditions. All other Terms and Conditions expressed or implied by statute or otherwise are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer.   


Orders

All orders for products shall be deemed to be an offer by the customer to purchase products pursuant to these Terms and Conditions. The customer shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided on the order form and we will not be obliged to accept an order unless all details requested have been entered correctly and you are 16 years old or over. No order submitted by the customer shall be deemed to be accepted by us unless and until we confirm acceptance of your order. The order will be processed once payment for the order is received. All orders are subject to availability. Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you and will not be required to provide an explanation. Please note that Marques’Almeida does not guarantee that all products presented on the website are in stock at the time of your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you shortly. If we already have received payment for such product, we will refund you the amount of the purchase.


Pre-Orders

Pre-order items are products that will be produced especially just for you and can be reserved within a limited time limit.

When purchasing a Pre-Order item, you will be among the first to reserve a product in your preferred style and size and buy with a 20% discount. 

Before ordering, please read the Terms below:

1. Pre-orders require payment to be made at checkout.

2. Please note that due to the nature of pre-order items, we will not be accepting cancellations.

3. The expected shipping date for Pre-Order items will be clearly noted on the product page. This date is only an estimate and is subject to change. We cannot estimate or guarantee a specific ship date, just an estimated date of delivery. We will ship the order as soon as it is available.

4. Please note, Pre-Ordered items can be cancelled. If for any reason we are not able to fulfil your Pre-Order, we will refund you the full amount of the Pre-Order.

5. If you combine in-stock and pre-ordered items, ALL items will be shipped at once when all pre-ordered items are available.

6. Once you place an order with us, it means that you are willing to accept these Terms & Conditions.

Products

Marques’Almeida goal is to describe the products on the website as correctly as possible. However, sometimes the products may differ slightly from the images shown on the website due to the dyeing process. Please keep in mind that this is completely normal and that multiple products can have different reactions to the different washes depending on how much they were exposed to it during washing. Besides that, some display settings and light intensity of your device can also change the colour of the product in the photo. Marques’Almeida cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancy.

Product sizes and measurements are approximate only, so ensure you read the product information carefully before placing your order, in order to fully understand the desired fit of the product. In the unlikely event that the requested product/s are not available, we will offer you a replacement. If the replacement product is not acceptable to you, the order will be cancelled and not processed or shipped. If you accept the replacement order, the order will proceed as normal, but only after you confirm your acceptance in writing. 

Prices and currencies

The price of the products will be the price quoted on the website at the date the order is received and will include VAT. Prices are shown in € (euros) unless you change the currency for those of you in other parts of the world. Simply select either €, $ and £ at the top right-hand side of the screen.  

Discount Code Offers

From time to time, we may offer promotional discount codes, which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made through our website. The discount codes do not apply to shipping costs. If you are returning items that were purchased using a discount code, the code will remain valid if there are any retained items over any stated minimum spend that the discount code applies to. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or change any promotion without notice.


Free Shipping Offers

From time to time, we may offer minimum spend free shipping offers, which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though our website. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or change any promotion without notice.


Payment methods

The following payments are accepted: American Express, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Diners Club, JCB and Paypal. When we provide any products to the customer under our website Terms and Conditions, payment will be charged to your chosen payment method. Ownership of the products will pass to the customer upon full payment of the price of the products. We will send an electronic receipt to your email address once the transaction is completed, and we will send you another e-mail and tracking number as soon as the products are dispatched.


Your Warranty

The customer warrants that all details provided on the order form for the purpose of purchasing the products are correct, that the credit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds and/or sufficient unused limit to cover the cost of the products.


Limitation of Liability

We will use all reasonable endeavours to carry out its obligations within a reasonable period of time but will not be liable to you, the buyer, for any losses, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any delays in doing so, and we will not be deemed to be in breach of this Agreement by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of its obligations in relation to this Agreement, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the following will be regarded as causes beyond our reasonable control:

  • Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident; 
  • War or threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance or requisition; 
  • Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary, or local authority;
  • Import or export regulations or embargoes; 
  • Strikes, lock outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes; 
  • Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery; 
  • Power failure or breakdown in machinery.

How long we keep your personal information.
