M'A JERSEY, FLEECE AND SHIRTING ARE MADE OF CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton is a familiar fabric for most of us. It is grown from organic seeds, which have not been genetically modified. The cultivation does not use synthetic fertilizers and soil conservation is an important part. The certified cotton fabric is made from a minimum of 70% organic fibers, establishing environmental and social criteria.

Cotton is one of the main raw materials in the fashion industry. More than 90% of conventionally produced cotton uses highly toxic substances such as fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides that contaminate and damage the soil

and with that they cause a decline in soil health and biodiversity.

From now on we at MARQUES'ALMEIDA intend that all cotton used in our products comes from certified organic cotton.
