WHY WE USE MULESING-FREE WOOL AT M'A?

Mulesing is a painful technique used by the majority of sheep farmers to prevent their sheep from being killed by infections caused by insects. However, the method can be avoided.

The public awareness that no animal should go through the pain and stress caused by this type of procedure, has led to the wool industry researching alternatives to mulesing. 

Nowadays, there are safer and better ways to remove sheep's wool and to keep them safe from insects but they are more expensive in the long run. This is why mulesing-free merino wool items might cost a bit extra.
